God's Word is meant to be examined and applied.The Book of Revelation may be the most famous written work in scripture, and for that matter, the world. What is the big deal about the Book of Revelation? Do we need to fully understand it to become a Christian or to remain faithful in our walk with Christ? Why was it given, and to whom, and for what purpose? How did the early Christians understand these prophecies? Are we still waiting for the fulfillment of these prophetic messages, or was it meant for a first-century audience only? Should we be afraid of what is yet to come, or should we look forward to it? I still don’t fully understand the Book of Revelation. If anyone says they do, run away from them as fast as you can!
