The Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low is one of two extremely limited edition colorways of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe created by high fashion house Dior, in Italy. In what is arguably the most desirable sneaker collaboration of 2020, the Dior x Jordan 1 collection promptly sent waves throughout both the fashion and sneaker scenes when Dior’s Creative Director, Kim Jones, announced the partnership at the Dior pre-fall show in Miami in 2020. The minimal aesthetic of Dior’s Jordan 1 is underscored by the Dior grey leather overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. Buttery smooth white leather forms the base of the shoe, appearing on the perforated toe and mid-panel. An embroidered monogram Swoosh covers either side and a white “Air Dior” Wings emblem graces the heel. Finishing touches include a white midsole and contrasting icy blue translucent outsole. The Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low was released on June 25, 2020.
