Aiphone JF-2HD Sub-Master Station for JF Series Audio/Video Intercom System

The Aiphone JF-2HD sub-master station for Aiphone JF Series audio/video intercom system extends the door-answering capabilities of the master station (sold separately) into multiple rooms or over a large area. An incoming call from the door station (sold separately) activates the display on the 3-1/2 LCD color monitor to aid visitor identification. The station can record images and automatically label them with date and time. It can also access audio memos for internal reminders and audio recordings saved on the master stations internal memory to replay through the door station when personal communication with a visitor is not possible or preferred. The sub-master operator can record monitor images onto the master stations internal memory using the record button. Up to 50 images can be recorded at a time (with each image containing 8 frames captured over 8 seconds) and up to 10 images can be saved to the master stations memory.A call can be answered by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the answering button for hands-free communication with the caller. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor and, when used with two door stations and the Aiphone RY-3DL door-release adapter (sold separately), the sub-master operator can select which connected door to release. The call button initiates audio communication with the connected master station for remote communication. The monitor button can be pressed at any time to listen and receive video feed from the door station. The chime and audio volume is adjustable. Housing is ABS plastic and mounts to the surface of a wall using a single-gang box or ring.
